Why do some say our ancenstors are gorrillas and some some say we came from adam and eve?

This question has bogged my mind forever now, why do some say we have evolved from a gorrilla, to cavemen all the way down to a human and those are our ancestors and the bible says it was adam and eve who were first created and thats where we came from , who is right?
