I Love My Boyfriend,Please tell me what you think about this?

Ok so my boyfriend made a mistake and it led him to serving time behind bars ,and he is sentanced to 16 months, and has served 4 months so far, alright i unconditionally Love this Guy , My Feelings for him has always been strong and Real, i know he is in a messy sittuation right now, but i alctually want to bring up the subject of Engagment, i honestly can say that i could see us getting through all of lifes aspects together and making it through thick and thin, Wow i Trully Love this Guy More then Anything, and that feelings is mutual, ....... so should i wait to bring up the subject,or should i should just go for it? and i want to save up money so i can be prepaired if we get a place together, we have practically lived together before for a year, i know its hard to tell if somone is the 1, or not, But There is just sumthing in my Hearts instinct that we are Made For eachother, and could get through possibly the roughest Scenarios, and if that aint true Love, then i dont Know what Love is then! lol
