Can my roommate and I play each other at Tiger Woods 09 for the PS3 using each of our PS3 profiles?

Both of us have our own profiles on the Playstation 3, and on Tiger Woods 09. Any help would be great, because we don't want to have to make a community profile, and waste time getting 2 golfers better a peice.
