Scion xB first gen vs second gen?

I need some help making my decision. First of all I have decided on buying a Scion xB 100% so please don't tell me to look at another car you like better. I was wondering if anyone knows the advantages or disadvantages to getting the first generation versus the second generation. I plan on putting in a cold air intake and doing some other upgrading. Which one would you get? Thanks!
